Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills (IOLS) — September 9–10, 2023

Training Past Event

Introduction to Outdoor Leaders Skills (Required for Scouts BSA Troop & Venturing Crew Leaders): Working as patrols, this hands-on course provides adult leaders the practical outdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in the out-of-doors.

Time: Saturday 8:00 AM – Sunday 11:00 AM (Optional Friday night arrival)

About Camp

Camp Workcoeman is located in the hills of northwest Connecticut in scenic New Hartford and Barkhamsted. The camp consists of approximately 427 acres on the shore of beautiful West Hill Pond, possibly the cleanest in Connecticut.

Established in 1924, it is one of the oldest continuously operated Scout camps in the country. For 100 years, thousands of Scouts and Scouters have had unforgettable Scouting experiences at Camp Workcoeman. This fine tradition of Scouting continues today.
