July 17–21 and August 7–11, 2023

Camp Workcoeman will once again host a week long Cub Scout Day Camp!

Day Camp is a great way for your Cub Scout age son or daughter to experience the thrill of the outdoors and is a good introduction to independence from mom and dad without being too far from home. The week-long program fills each day with the adventure and experiences that families join the Scouting program for. Activities include archery, BB, swimming, crafts, nature, STEM, and much more. In 2022 our theme is Explore the World!

Day Camp runs 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM and also features several special activities including a cookout, campfire, and awards ceremony. Lunch is included.

All the fun takes place under the watchful eye of our highly trained and certified staff ensuring a safe and fun experience. Camp Workcoeman is a Nationally Accredited Camp by the BSA and has a long history in Scouting since 1924.

Baloo’s Family Camp

Two special weekends (July 14–16 and August 4–6, 2023) of program filled Cub Scout family camp will be offered! Baloo’s Family Adventure at Camp Workcoeman is a great opportunity for Cub Scouts to enjoy a summer camp experience without the worries of being away from home for an extended period of time. Located along the shore of beautiful West Hill Pond in New Hartford, Baloo’s Family Adventure is open to all Cub Scouts and their families as the program centers around fun for all! You will take advantage of our various program areas with activities including BB/archery shooting, swimming, crafts, and more! The event will include a family campfire in the amphitheater featuring songs, skits, cheers, and awards! Families will stay in the canvas tents with bunks and mattresses while meals will be served in the dining hall.
