National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is the BSA’s premier youth leadership development program at the Council level. It’s an exciting 6-day program designed for youth to learn leadership skills that will help them succeed in Scouting and in life.
A required precamp meeting takes place at camp Thursday, June 8 at 7 PM.
Time: 3:30 PM, Sunday, July 9 – 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 15

Camp Workcoeman is located in the hills of northwest Connecticut in scenic New Hartford and Barkhamsted. The camp consists of approximately 427 acres on the shore of beautiful West Hill Pond, possibly the cleanest in Connecticut.
Established in 1924, it is one of the oldest continuously operated Scout camps in the country. For 100 years, thousands of Scouts and Scouters have had unforgettable Scouting experiences at Camp Workcoeman. This fine tradition of Scouting continues today.
