20 March 2022 — This summer, Camp Workcoeman has a full schedule of summer day programs planned for both Cub Scout and Scouts BSA participants. In addition, unit and family camping is offered all summer, and à la carte programs are available.
To reserve a facility, please visit the Connecticut Rivers Council Reservation Website. Rentals are available Labor Day through Memorial Day.
The dining hall is a year-round, heated facility located adjacent to the parade ground, overlooking the waterfront on West Hill Pond.
Camp Workcoeman is located in the hills of northwest Connecticut in scenic New Hartford and Barkhamsted. The camp consists of approximately 427 acres on the shore of beautiful West Hill Pond, possibly the cleanest in Connecticut.
Established in 1924, it is one of the oldest continuously operated Scout camps in the country. For 98 years, thousands of Scouts and Scouters have had unforgettable Scouting experiences at Camp Workcoeman. This fine tradition of Scouting continues today.
