Steak Dinner — Saturday, June 2, 2018

June 2nd is an important and busy day at camp as both Beaver Day and our annual Steak Dinner will be held.

The Steak Dinner, hosted by the Citizens of Shawtown, is an annual fundraiser. Dinner begins in the Camp Workcoeman Dining Hall at 6 PM and is preceded by hors d'oeuvres at 5:30 PM. The cost to attend is $25 for adults and $13 for children 10 and under with all proceeds benefiting camp improvement projects. To reserve your spot sign-up online.

Beaver Day — Saturday, June 2, 2018

Join us on Saturday, June 2nd for the annual Camp Workcoeman Beaver Day. This work day allows us to get a head start on setting up camp for another exciting season. We’ll gather in the Dining Hall at 8:30 AM before beginning work at 9:00 AM. Lunch will be provided. Click here for more information. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

About Camp

Camp Workcoeman is located in the hills of northwest Connecticut in scenic New Hartford and Barkhamsted. The camp consists of approximately 427 acres on the shore of beautiful West Hill Pond, possibly the cleanest in Connecticut.

Established in 1924, it is one of the oldest continuously operated Scout camps in the country. For 100 years, thousands of Scouts and Scouters have had unforgettable Scouting experiences at Camp Workcoeman. This fine tradition of Scouting continues today.
