The next Shawtown work day is scheduled for Saturday, September 26th from 9 AM until 3 PM; this workday will coincide with an Order of the Arrow weekend. All Council, state, and CDC COVID-19 guidance must be followed including masks and social distancing. In order to ensure everyone’s safety, please bring your own LUNCH and MASK. To ensure proper group numbers and for contact tracing purposes, you MUST confirm your attendance to Brian Cornell ([email protected]) by Wednesday, September 23rd.
Camp Workcoeman is located in the hills of northwest Connecticut in scenic New Hartford and Barkhamsted. The camp consists of approximately 427 acres on the shore of beautiful West Hill Pond, possibly the cleanest in Connecticut.
Established in 1924, it is one of the oldest continuously operated Scout camps in the country. For 97 years, thousands of Scouts and Scouters have had unforgettable Scouting experiences at Camp Workcoeman. This fine tradition of Scouting continues today.
