The Great Workcoeman Boat Race — August 22, 2020

We are pleased to announce The Great Workcoeman Boat Race taking place on Saturday, August 22, 2020. Scouts can register for boating and swimming events as individuals, buddies, and teams. The event will take place from 9:30 AM until 3:30 PM, and lunch will be provided. Required swim tests will be administered Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 9 AM until noon. A medical form with Parts A, B, and D is required. All CDC, state, and Scouting COVID-19 guidelines will be followed. A mask is required. Please see the event flier for more information and visit the Council website to register. The cost is $20 per participant.

About Camp

Camp Workcoeman is located in the hills of northwest Connecticut in scenic New Hartford and Barkhamsted. The camp consists of approximately 427 acres on the shore of beautiful West Hill Pond, possibly the cleanest in Connecticut.

Established in 1924, it is one of the oldest continuously operated Scout camps in the country. For 100 years, thousands of Scouts and Scouters have had unforgettable Scouting experiences at Camp Workcoeman. This fine tradition of Scouting continues today.
