2 Sep 2024 — Camp Workcoeman has a variety of programs taking place this fall for both Scouts BSA and Cub Scouts. In addition, training opportunities and campsite/facility rentals are available. We hope to you at camp!>
This Program is meant to provide Scouts with the opportunity to earn at least a portion of a merit badge that relates to being outdoors during the winter. Information about any requirements needing to be done outside of the merit badge class will be provided in advance.
Check-in starts at 8:30 AM, with closing at 4:30 PM. Lunch will be provided.
Badges include: Fishing (Ice Fishing), Geocaching, Search and Rescue, Skating (Ice Skating), and Snow Sports
Ice skates must be brought by those participating in Skating Merit Badge.

Camp Workcoeman is located in the hills of northwest Connecticut in scenic New Hartford and Barkhamsted. The camp consists of approximately 427 acres on the shore of beautiful West Hill Pond, possibly the cleanest in Connecticut.
Established in 1924, it is one of the oldest continuously operated Scout camps in the country. For 100 years, thousands of Scouts and Scouters have had unforgettable Scouting experiences at Camp Workcoeman. This fine tradition of Scouting continues today.
