4 December 2022 — A variety of day and weekend Scouting programs are planned for this winter and spring at Camp Workcoeman. These activities include both Scouts BSA and Cub Scout events as well as adult Scouter training opportunities.

Sportsman Merit Badge Day — November 5, 2022

Scouts BSA Past Event

This is an opportunity for Scouts to earn a sportsman related merit badge. The badges being offered are: Climbing, Archery, Rifle Shooting, Shotgun Shooting, and Sports. The program runs 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM and the $45 registration fee includes lunch.

About Camp

Camp Workcoeman is located in the hills of northwest Connecticut in scenic New Hartford and Barkhamsted. The camp consists of approximately 427 acres on the shore of beautiful West Hill Pond, possibly the cleanest in Connecticut.

Established in 1924, it is one of the oldest continuously operated Scout camps in the country. For 99 years, thousands of Scouts and Scouters have had unforgettable Scouting experiences at Camp Workcoeman. This fine tradition of Scouting continues today.
