The Camp Workcoeman Trading Post has updated Scout Shop winter hours. For January and February, we’ll be open Saturdays 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
The trading post is a satellite Scout Shop, offering uniform parts and patches, as well as advancement items! While we don’t stock everything, we can order it for you, and purchases can be charged directly to unit accounts. Unit leaders looking to obtain advancement items such as merit badges, rank patches, Eagle memorabilia, or Cub Scout belt loops/pins are encouraged to pre-order items with us so that we can ensure we have everything you need! Pre-orders, or inquiries of any kind, can be submitted directly to [email protected].
Camp Workcoeman is located in the hills of northwest Connecticut in scenic New Hartford and Barkhamsted. The camp consists of approximately 427 acres on the shore of beautiful West Hill Pond, possibly the cleanest in Connecticut.
Established in 1924, it is one of the oldest continuously operated Scout camps in the country. For 101 years, thousands of Scouts and Scouters have had unforgettable Scouting experiences at Camp Workcoeman. This fine tradition of Scouting continues today.
