COVID-19 Update

6 November 2020 — Per state Phase 2.1 guidelines, overnight camping has been suspended. Units in the Connecticut Rivers Council may continue day in-person activities in accordance with state guidance. Please see ctscouting.org for full details.

2020 Camp Patch Available for Order

The 2020 Camp Workcoeman patch is now available for order. Patches can be purchased through the Connecticut Rivers Council Online Trading Post or by mailing in the fillable PDF order form. Patches purchased through the Online Trading Post are $5 each with shipping included; patches purchased by mail cost $4 plus a shipping fee of $1 per order (regardless of the number of patches ordered).

About Camp

Camp Workcoeman is located in the hills of northwest Connecticut in scenic New Hartford and Barkhamsted. The camp consists of approximately 427 acres on the shore of beautiful West Hill Pond, possibly the cleanest in Connecticut.

Established in 1924, it is one of the oldest continuously operated Scout camps in the country. For 96 years, thousands of Scouts and Scouters have had unforgettable Scouting experiences at Camp Workcoeman. This fine tradition of Scouting continues today.
