Please join the Citizens of Shawtown on Saturday, November 23, 2019 as they work to complete the roof of our pole barn and wrap up any remaining projects before the onset of winter. Please join us for coffee and donuts at 8:30 AM with work commencing at 9:00 AM. Lunch will be provided. Please confirm attendance to either Ranger Frank or Brian Cornell. Members of the Citizens of Shawtown, their friends, and all others interested in helping are invited.
Camp Workcoeman is located in the hills of northwest Connecticut in scenic New Hartford and Barkhamsted. The camp consists of approximately 427 acres on the shore of beautiful West Hill Pond, possibly the cleanest in Connecticut.
Established in 1924, it is one of the oldest continuously operated Scout camps in the country. For 100 years, thousands of Scouts and Scouters have had unforgettable Scouting experiences at Camp Workcoeman. This fine tradition of Scouting continues today.
