Camp Workcoeman’s ninetieth anniversary reunion will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 starting at 3:00pm. Reconnect with generations of Scouters to celebrate ninety years of good camping on West Hill Pond. Take some time to tour camp and note the many changes that have occurred over the years before joining us for a chicken cookout. Whether you were a camper, staffer, or volunteer you will enjoy this opportunity to reunite with your past.
Camp Workcoeman is located in the hills of northwest Connecticut in scenic New Hartford and Barkhamsted. The camp consists of approximately 427 acres on the shore of beautiful West Hill Pond, possibly the cleanest in Connecticut.
Established in 1924, it is one of the oldest continuously operated Scout camps in the country. For 100 years, thousands of Scouts and Scouters have had unforgettable Scouting experiences at Camp Workcoeman. This fine tradition of Scouting continues today.
