Located in New Hartford, Connecticut, Camp Workcoeman is the place for all Cub Scouts to have fun and adventure! Below are the various programs that are scheduled throughout the summer.
Day Camp features all the fun and excitement of summer camp without the overnight element. Scouts are introduced to the Cub Scout summer camp program and will come away with a great experience that will include fun, excitement, and some advancement.
We are excited to announce that Camp Workcoeman will be offering a dynamic new camping program for the summer of 2020. This new program is a Family Camping free-style program that will allow open program times and unmatched flexibility for you and your family. With this fresh new program, we will also be able to provide exciting opportunities for the entire family of Scouting. This program will offer something for all ages, Cubs right through to Scouts BSA. It is also open to families and friends who are non-scouts (just one person in the party needs to be a member of Scouting).
This is a shorter overnight experience for Cubs and their adult partners. Cub Scouts will get a taste of those great summer camp programs. This opportunity will allow for some advancement but the main emphasis is fun!
An action packed week for 4th and 5th graders who are ready for a week-long camp experience. The program focuses on the Adventure of Scouting where Scouts can earn activity pins and other advancement opportunities. Webelos also get the opportunity to see what awaits them in the Scouts BSA program.
