Reserve Your Site Now for 2011
All troop reservations for 2011 will be done online. Below are the four steps to follow for signing your troop up to attend Camp Workcoeman during the summer of 2011. See the special notes regarding the 2011 camp fee provided below.
1. Go to www.ctrivers.org/2011summercampreservations
2. Create a log in account to be used throughout the registration process and the payment process for 2011.
3. Select the camp, site and week you wish to attend. Then fill in all the other required fields.
4. Submit your online reservation with a reservation fee of $25 either with an e-check or credit card.
5. Your site reservation will then be confirmed in early November by the Camp Director.
2011 Summer Camp Dates
Week 1: July 3-9, 2011
Week 2: July 10-16, 2011
Week 3: July 17-23, 2011
Week 4: July 24-30, 2011
Week 5: July 31-Aug 6, 2011
Week 6: August 7-13, 2011
2011 Summer Camp Fees
The 2011 Summer camp fee will remain the same as it was in 2010 provide the troop reserves a campsite by October 31, 2010 and makes final payments in full by may 20, 2011. Those fees will be:
- The non-refundable, non-applicable reservation fee ($25) will be payable at the time of your reservation.
- The full fee will be $355.
- The discounted fee paid by May 20 will be $330
- Extra leavers, based on your attendance, will remain $90 per person-per week or $15 per day.
If you reserve a campsite November 1, 2010 or after,
the fees will be:
- The non-refundable, non-applicable reservation fee ($50) will be payable at the time of your reservation.
- The full fee will be $380.
- The discounted fee paid by May 20 will be $345
- Extra leavers, based on your attendance, will remain $90 per person-per week or $15 per day.
Tips to Maximize Scout Attendance at Summer Camp
- Have fun this summer!
- Take plenty of pictures!
- Sign up NOW for next year!
- At your first Court of Honor in the fall, show the summer camp pictures!
- Inform parents of next year's camp date and fee!
- Establish a fundraiser to help boys get to camp (Popcorn)!
- Talk about summer camp frequently at troop meetings!
- Have each Scouts make a $50 deposit for camp in February!
- Prepare Scouts for camp with monthly camping trips!
- Scouts who attend camp stay in the troop longer!
